child abuse. The program looks like a children's program, quacks like a
children's program, but is traumatizing and shocking to even adults. If it
's satire, it's poorly executed and should be cut. Or made sure it was
sanitized for kids.
The kid who made the suggestion, he's famous now. But probably not in a
good way that he will grow up being happy about. He could sue for child
abuse. Also the other kids on the table, should sue for child abuse.
Kids at that age barely know right from wrong, don't understand the
difference between facts and fiction. Say if one kid decide to expose
himself/herself on the show (possibly on adults' suggestion), and the adults
failed to censor the segment, then it's clearly ground for child abuse.
Disney the parent company of ABC should know better than allowing this show
to go on.
Satire is not an excuse for savagery and bigotry and plain stupidity. Jimmy
Kimmel should be fired for incompetency or bigotry. Take your pick. |
