学校每两个周五会带全班小孩步行20分钟到附近的公立图书馆，去年就这上学的一个小
孩家长说这个活动可好了，小孩们都喜欢。
可是让我害怕的是这个需要家长签字的文件，叫“TRIP PERMIT”, 上面写到：
Education Code 35330 provides that any person attending a field trip or
excursion must waive all claims against the school district and the State
for injury, accident, illness or death occurring during or by reason of the
field trip or excursion.
Accordingly, I hereby waive all claims which I may have against the xxx
School District, its officers, agents, and employees for injury, accident,
illness, or death occurring or by reason of the activity described above.
这就是说如果哪个小朋友出事甚至是有生命危险学校也没有责任，是你家长活该？
实在不能理解。

发帖数: 4059 | 3 看了下wording，waive的应该是学区、州以及其雇员的责任。而不是学校的责任。这条
签了应该不免除孩子所在学校的责任。
这是我的理解。供参考。具体请咨询校方。

the State of California for injury, accident, illness, or death
occurring during or by reason of the field trip or excursion. All
adults taking out-of-state field trips or excursions and all parents
or guardians of pupils taking out-of-state field trips or excursions
shall sign a statement waiving all claims.
我的理解是只有州外的这种TRIP需要签， 因为发生在外州的事故你可以在外州诉讼，
而外州法律不一定有这样的免责风险假设。

学校让我们签的这个disclaimer是用于近距离feild trip,是给小孩的，竟然也如此无
情.
我在网上查了一下，美国人也有同样的顾虑，认为自己的孩子是没人负责的：

如果这个field trip只有几次，像到动物园／musieum之类的到也罢了，可这是一个月
两次，家长哪有时间chaparon。这个pre-K这学期会有去zoo,我肯定要volunteer了。
可能开学第一天我会问问老师有多少小孩不去，如果都去，我只好屈从了。 | m**********8

那个州外的条款指adult,我的理解是你一个adult,到了州外也没人对你负责。
