1. Teach how to descalate situation :
Do not overreact when a kid makes racist remarks.
Do not overreach by intervening for your child, you are
taking a valuable opportunity for your child to learn
an important lesson.
let kids be kids. tell your child to prepare 3 calm/funny
come backs to the common slurs, schoolyard taunts.
fight and flight response are both problematic. Do not
escalate situation, but learn to descalate the situation.

2. kids have to learn to recognize taunting, bullying behavior
and how to team up (i should emphasize "team up")
so that they do not get picked (individually) by bullies.
When bullies started with light taunting, they are probing
for weaker, isolated kids. Your kid should not
over-react (quick escalation into a verbal/physical fight)
or fail to react (flight).
