studied the GRE vocabulary. I would say chem, math are pretty easy. There
is calculas in the Math. I Studied the Kaplan book for the BIO. But did not
helped a lot. |

90+ pcat percentile score, it got me the interviews from every school that
I applied to, but my GPA did not get me into the school that I wanted most.
I think more than half of my class did not have pharmacy experience at all.
A decent GPA would get you everything! |

skills and pharmacy experience; other schools care a lot about GPA. We had a
student with a 3.9 (out of 4.0) that was rejected. One of my friends had a
4.0 and was put on the waiting list for 3 months. All was due to their
lack of extracurricular activities and work experience. The average GPA for
our class was 3.75, so almost everyone had a decent GPA, so they had to use

If I can finish the test on Jan that would be fantastic.
In GRE verbal was my nightmare, how about the verbal part in PCAT? Pretty
much the same level as
GRE?
Another thing is about writing part. What material you used to practice on?
Is this similar as TWE in
toefl?

before but I get some
question about the prerequisite courses.
Has anybody every taken on-line course or independent study? I'm thinking
about taking some courses
by that way but I don't want to get a low score.

say that is because the kaplan's is the most recent one (2006-2007) in my
books. i also have two old books from friends, one is 2004 (forget the
publisher), the other is peterson? (2003).I never compare kaplan's with
other books also for 2006-2007.
people say the test changes a lot these years. i believe it's true because i
see huge differences in these 3 books. the samples in kaplan's book are
most similar to those in the |

About to get score back.
For the most part, I used Kaphalan book plus Cliff's review book. Kaphalan
is in a more detail pattern.
Break down to individual section:
Verbal: use GRE book to study, it did not have as many trick as GRE, but
amount of verbal is similar.
Biology: Kaphalan book is way to much detail, cliffs review book is alright
. I borrowed a biology book for the undergraduates and study them. Most
difficult part is the evalution as well as plant part. But for |

发帖数: 179 | 35 forgot to mention. One thing is timing. Make sure you practised before you
go to take the exam. The time is limited and I almost out of time which is
unsually for me.
Also, make sure check each individual school for the expiration date for
pCAT, different school have different standard.
Jan pCAT is about to close to its deadline for registration i think. |
