Brief description:
Our company, a mid-size biotechnology company at Maryland has a new
opportunity for a research associate I/II position in the Physicochemical
testing Group within the Analytical Biochemistry Department. The successful
candidate will utilize chromatographic (HPLC) and spectroscopic methods to
support
development of biopharmaceutical products, such as humanized monoclonal
antibodies. He/she will perform size exclusion, affinity and
reversed-phase HPLC analysis to support in-process and raw material testing,
as well as the development of novel HPLC based method to support upstream
development.
The candidate is expected to perform the testing following written
procedures. The candidate will make detailed experimental observations,
review and analyze data, and interpret experimental results. The candidate
will need to present and discuss experimental results at group meetings.
Finally, he/she must be able to work in a team structure and interface with
groups inside Analytical Biochemistry Department. |
