Position summary:
We are looking for a scientist with a strong cellular biology background and
expertise in adherent cell culture techniques. Responsibilities include
tissue culture of mammalian stem cells and maintenance of all cell culture
related equipment and laboratory reagents. In addition to cell culture, the
candidate will aid in preparation of material for use in ongoing human
clinical trials. Familiarity with cGMP procedures and processes is essential
.
Primary responsibilities:
1. Creation of medium and large scale cell banks.
2. Daily feeding and evaluation of cell cultures.
3. Analysis of performance and properties of cultured cells using
immunocytochemical techniques.
5. Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative
analyses.
6. Adherence to standard operating procedures.
7. Perform routine equipment maintenance related to cell culture.
8. Maintain detailed accurate records pertinent to cell culture laboratory
functions.
9. Carry out administrative duties (assisting with reports, ordering
supplies).
10. Maintain inventory of cell culture laboratory supplies.
11. May need to travel to Beijing on occasion to support clinical trials
