I was playing with camera tilt. I don't want the
horizon to be horizontal. I have taken tons of those photo already. However,
I am not sure how much rotation I shall have with camera. I think a good
guide line will be there should not be dominantly horizontal or vertical
line,
like bridge in photo 1, and 方尖碑 in 4th. Those does not work with camera
tilt.

| l*****s 发帖数: 1754 | 10 I don't quite agree with the comments about 2 and 4. There are details need
to be fixed in 2, as you mentioned, but the composition is better than 4,
for portrait purpose.
When photo graphing with rail, leading lines from the tracks the the
greatest gift from the scene. I would argue having the leading lines
pointing towards head works better(That's what I am doing with 2, and 3)
than having the lines cutting through head.
And for camera height, a lower camera as in 4, does not bring attention to
the eyes. And the legs in the photo become the first focal point. At a
higher camera, yes the feet is out of focus, but it might now be a bad thing
.

| | | l*****s 发帖数: 1754 | 11 The comments on 1 is quite good. I was trying to do a frame in the frame
composition. I have no idea why I cropped it like that. Let 's see the full
frame. I actually shot a bunch.

| l*****s 发帖数: 1754 | 12 ok one more.
The original, there is a strong back light that messed up the contrast, and
cause lens flare.
Edit 1 - I would call it 小清新 style, but the face is flat, and colors are
washed out.
Edit 2 - Added an multiply layer on top of one, and I believe used blurred
green channel as mask, to bring back some color, and luminosity details on
the face.
Eidt 3 - Trying to add color variation back to the photo converting file to
LAB, and used "man from mars technique". The result is a really colorful
photo, which is not normally seen in such black light/flare condition. But,
does it look weird? or over processed?
If you guys can comment on edit 1,2,3. I would greatly appreciate it. | l*****s 发帖数: 1754 | 13 yeah, I took out the building on the left. Maybe in the end, I might like
edit 1 better. 2, and 3 become more of a note to myself about what can be
done. | d*********6 发帖数: 1972 | | l*****s 发帖数: 1754 | 15 take 2, on #2
