Compared with XPAN, XPAN II has
LCD display in the viewfinder showing shutter speed and exposure information
(so that you could decide if the shot is hand holdable when seeing the view
finder).
Multi exposure (up to 9 exposures)
Self-timer delay 2 or 10 s, this could replace shutter release cable in some
sense.
