You can not get what you want on a photograph as the light they emit is too
weak. Best you could try is getting their light trails, but even this might
be dissatisfying. Make sure their is no light pollution in the area if you
go for the long exposure.
Maybe you'll do better with capturing a video of them with your D90.
You need to be very close for a close-up shot of a firefly. Practically like
you could touch them I'd say. The SB600 will be just fine. No tripod
necessary for this kin

我把光圈调到最大，iso设成800，也没拍到轨迹，背景光还是太强了。也许得到深山老
林里才行
