think it's quite fast compared with 10 years ago.
This is once the best journal in metallurgy. It prefer long papers with not
only good experiment but also deep theoritical insight. But as the shrinking
of research in metallurgy in the world, the quality of paper is going down.
More and more "experimental report" appear on it, less and less theoritical
work. And fewer and fewer papers are on metals and alloys. Maybe that's the

传统physical metallurgy的衰落，确实也是由于简单的问题基本都被解决了，而剩下
的问题都是很难的，呵呵

Steel makers are very active in such field.
Although the fund from GOV is not so much compare to the fancy branches,
the financial support from industry is quite a lot.
Joint research gives a lot of space to expand the vision.
I'm working on both mechanics and metallurgy.

说到相变，钢的相变是最复杂的，没什么严格的理论，全是靠经验
