I was looking at a powerful video talking about women leadership in work
force, the speaker COO of facebook Sheryl Sandberg says, "the likability
and
success are positively correlated for men and negatively correlated for
women." Unfortunately, this is true and many of us have experienced the
same frustration.
I want to start a club and a support group for Chinese women in New York
City. The focus will be leadership in workforce as well as work & life
balance. The initial thought will be to connect as many Chinese women
in NYC as possible in a professional as well as casual way, meaning we
can talk about career, life and love.
It is hard to be a woman, it is hard to be Chinese woman and it is even
harder to be a Chinese woman in NYC. But with support from each other,
we can grow strong and cherish life together in the most amazing city on
Earth.
Please invite as many Chinese women as possible to this group.
