transfer application before your current contract ends.
but usually it's fine if the gap is within a couple of weeks.

Current position ends at March 31. New position start at May 1. H1B
transfer application has filed and gotten the receipt.
Is it OK there is 1 month gap between two position?
Extensive question:
If H1b transfer has been approved on March 25. Is is OK go back to China for
1 month and apply new H1B visa in China?

的博士后工作是在6月份到期。之间的gap能呆在美国嘛？不吝赐教。

同到期，也能呆到10月份等新的H1b生效去新的工作？如果换工业界的工作，新的H1b10
月份才能生效，有gap的问题，6月份到10月份不能保持身份？
