status应该没有关系，不需要豁免吧？ |

J1入境没关系。

换成了J1的status (I-94)。但是护照上的签证还是F1，只不过换成了J1的I-94.
要不要豁免？ |

where you transfer to J1, once you got J, you will get waiver before GC
application.
