一下两个的有缺点，据我所知就是，j1不用交税，对postdoc来说也算一大笔前了，h1b
可以申请绿卡，还有没有其他的优缺点，还有就是，啥是j1的豁免？请多多指教 | r******n

in 1 year.
My friend entered US in H1B visa working in a Institute, after 1 year he
found another position in a Hospital, if J1 visa, he would face a lot of

发帖数: 45 | 5 Thank you, my background is not strong enough to get GC in a year. That's
why I hesitate about the J-1 visa for the tax reason. Since there is not
treaty for us graduated phd, I think i'm going to fight for H1B, at least I
can stay in the GC line earlier:)

J-1 have to be waived later on. Quite some work |
