he probably would not ask you to check three months later. He may have some
funding applications under review. Good luck!
BTW. 美国当教授实在是他妈的累阿，学生，博士后吃喝拉撒睡你都得操心，整个一个

我去年联系一个也是不确定要等grant，还让我去interview了，最后没拿到钱没去成。
今年又发信问，说让我某月再问，可能会有opening
如果对我没兴趣，不会在我身上浪费这么多时间的
