Journal简介:
The Journal of Postdoctoral Research, JPR, is an international open-access
journal targeting researchers in all fields, and hence an interdisciplinary
scientific journal. JPR has gone live with many papers published in a range

With approximately 120,000 postdocs worldwide, and approximately 90,000
working in the US alone, spread across 3,000 universities and research
institutions, postdocs are a major force behind almost all major
breakthroughs in many fields of research with their inherent creative and
hardworking nature. Postdoc Journal aims to highlight this fact by providing
an exclusive platform to showcase their contributions. The journal accepts
original research papers, review articles, perspectives, commentaries as
well as research highlights in ALL FIELDS. A research highlight is a 500
word summary of a recent publication in any journal that has an impact on
ongoing research in that field. All submissions go through a conventional
peer-review process before being accepted for publication. The general time-
frame from submission to acceptance for review submissions has been less
than 6 weeks, with a much smaller time-frame for perspectives, commentaries
and research highlights.
Postdoc journal is endorsed by an excellent panel of advisors, highly
accomplished scientists and academicians, including a Nobel Laureate. The 3-
tier, 60 member editorial board consists of accomplished postdocs from
various universities/research institutions, disciplines, and countries.
All submissions can be sent to E*************[email protected] or can be
submitted online through our automated system. Submissions should be
accompanied by a cover letter and contacts of 3 to 5 referees, experts in
your focus of research.
As you may be aware, this is an ambitious initiative to develop an iconic
international peer-reviewed publication reflective of the high quality of
postdoctoral contribution to ongoing research in ANY field. The eventual
goal of this initiative is to make this a 'Flagship', open-access, double-
free publication for the ~120k postdoc community, 75% of which works in the
US, spread across 3k universities and research institutions. And many are
excited about this initiative, some even terming it 'a project with a great
potential'. We are committed to making this a prominent publication in the
coming years reflective of postdoctoral work. Citations from the papers
published in JPR are reflected in Google Scholar citations, and so the
papers in JPR are naturally linked to the wealth of publications in any
other prestigious journals. We are also actively seeking to be indexed in
PubMed, PubMed Central, Scopus, and ISI Web of Science. We expect to see JPR
will achieve a good impact factor in the years to come, given the high
quality contributions from many outstanding scholars across the globe.
