I have a statistics master, not strong in C++ and PDE, but familiar with
regression modeling and SAS etc....what kinds of quantitative position I
might fit in?

发帖数: 93 | 2 Lots of positions in lots of areas. Even areas like fixed income pricing
and derivatives pricing, which traditionally require a hardcore math
background, nowadays hire more statisticians. If you know stats well and
know a package like SAS or S-Plus (or R) or Stata well, and know some C++,
you can find plenty of potential opportunities.
I do recommend getting acquainted with econometrics and time series, which
are extensions of general statistics.
