then don't even expect to make that transition in 2years. You are just not
ready yet.figure out what biz side you want to transfer to and what skills
they need. You don't have any clue now. |

CFA培养一下sense，打一下基础有用。这个证书的话，非ib人员用处不大

我认识的一个IT转quant的，只读了绿本。不过她是EE PHD，我只有master。可她应该
读不了state of the art

i remind you quant recently has become a very broad notion. some called
quant do it job, some other quants work as equity researcher do. all depends
on what you are looking for from inside "quant". even for some of those "
quant" positions, you may need not read the hull book
the green book may help you navigate stereotyped interviews, but teach you
absolute nothing with what quant is supposed to do.

发帖数: 336 | 10 这个我觉得还是看你面试时的应答能力和双方的CHEMISTRY。多读专业书多做题不是坏
事，但是发生在别人身上的事情不一定会适用于你（比如你举例的朋友） |

什么问题。想过去主要还
是因为他们奖金pool比我们好太多。
