Events in Iowa are scheduled throughout this week to mark the first
anniversary of the unanimous state supreme court decision that legalized
same-sex marriage on April 3, 2009.
According to Radio Iowa, the first such event on Monday drew about two dozen
people to Des Moines, where they marked the marriage equality anniversary
