a globalwise corporate VP, not a regional VP. I don't think a regional VP
can earn that much in China. Maybe, a regional VP in China is a kind of
direct report to him. That makes more sense.

得看公司的级别怎么定，有的公司小部门里面就有俩VP，有的公司整个公司就3VP。
得看公司慷慨不。
得看个人经历和背景，能差不少。
根据俺有限的直接经验，一F300的零售公司给中国区CEO开的package是300k刀/年，包
括所有的expat，在公司里面算SVP，report to International EVP。 |

is $18m, We have 5 or 6 EVP or SVP, they earn $9-10m/year. Then we have
30 VPs, they earn $4-6m.
One of the 30 VPs is in charge of China business. He is an expat and based
in China.

1. industry? 不同行业同级别(title)薪水差别大了. 比如CPG薪水和IT就非常不一样
2. function? finance, marketing, sales TCC (Total Cash Compensation)差别超过
300%都不稀奇.
3. what is the level of your APAC CEO? Corporate VP? Corporate SVP?
4. what is the official job grade of this 中国区vp?

In a company which has a regional VP, the regional VP reports direclty
either to the regional CEO (if they have such layer of management) or the VP
of headquarters in charge of the region. So the VP you just mentioned is
kind of equal to the regional CEO.
