Brief introduction to School of Optical and Electronic Information at HUST,
China
School of optical and electronic information(SOEI) at Huazhong University of
Science and Technology(HUST) was established on June 6, 2012, by merging
school of optoelectronic Sci&Eng and department of electrical Sci&Tech. The
School has about 140 faculty with broad and varied background and strong
research and professional expertise, more than 2800 undergraduate students
and over 1500 postgraduate students, they are supported by more than 50
technical and administrative staff members.
As National Pilot school for OE information and National talent base for
integrated circuits, the School was supported by several national research
platforms, such as Wuhan national lab for optoelectronics, National
engineering center for laser machining and National engineering lab for next
generation Internet access technology etc..
Open Positions
SOEI seeks exceptional, interactive and creative scientists to join its
faculty. We invite applications from outstanding candidates for professor，
associate professor and assistant professor positions. 2 positions are
offered to professor applicants, 3 positions are offered to associate
professor applicants and 3 positions are offered to assistant professor
applicants.
