发帖数: 820 | 1 Hi, there, can you kindly help me with your opinion on my father's visa
application? I am very worried about his visa.
My mother passed away about 8 years ago. My father visited twice. He came to
the U.S. with my mom for the 1st time. For the 2nd time, it was just after
my mom passed away. He left the U.S. and entered again before the visa
expired. Then he applied for extension for twice. Before the extension
expired, he left the U.S. This is about 6 years ago.
I would like to invite him to visit us. I am not sure whether I should fill
in the spouse for him. He was not married again. If I do not fill in the
spouse, I am afraid that his visa application will be refused due to the
reason such as immigration intention. Can I still fill in my mother's name
in the spouse? If so, will this affect his future green card application? (
He does not want to apply for green card, but he is alone in China..just in
case).
