Thank you for your inquiry dated June 16, 2015, regarding the I-539 -
Application To Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status.
As of June 15, 2015, USCIS ELIS will no longer accept new I-539 applications
. Applications or petitions that have been submitted in USCIS ELIS will
continue to be processed in the ELIS system. Applicants and their
representatives will be able to log in and track their cases in ELIS.
Customers who have draft applications or petitions in ELIS will be allowed
to continue and finish their filings. However, if the draft case is not
submitted within 30 days, the case will expire.
As always, I-539 applications may be submitted by paper filing. You may
download a free copy of these forms and instructions on our website at http://www.uscis.gov/forms. Please read the instructions carefully before filing.
As a reminder, if you move or are planning to move, please update your
address in your USCIS ELIS account at https://elis.uscis.dhs.gov/.
