现在跑版越来越兴旺,人越来越多,看到很多新人缺乏一些基本的运动常识,比如跑后
冰敷,觉得有必要建立这样一个FAQ贴。
我去的版面不多,其中travel的FAQ贴是最实用,信息量最完整的。决定借鉴一下他们
的模式。
征集一下应该放入的topic,比如
1. 有关跑鞋

其实置顶的那个dai根据whx写的那个对新手来说基本就够了,
俺两年前也就是看这个东西起步的,对新手来说,正确的跑
姿可能是最重要的了,是避免受伤的基础。。。
其它的比如穿啥跑鞋,怎么训练更好,怎么训练马拉松,考虑
这些问题的人其实已经不是新手了。。。

Running myth: "Runners should drink as much fluid as possible"
Hydration recommendations have been on a roller coaster ride. Many years ago
we were told not to drink. Coaches thought that drinking during competition
would cause cramps and decrease your performance. Thank goodness that crazy
idea was abandoned before we lost more runners to heat stroke.
Unfortunately the pendulum then swung too far the other direction. We were
told to drink early and often. It was suggested that we should try to stay
ahead of dehydration by drinking copious amounts of water and fluids. This
brought up a new problem – hyponatremia. Hyponatremia is an imbalance of
the fluid-electrolyte levels in your blood. Basically, your blood sodium
levels plummet because of excessive fluid intake. New guidelines suggest
drinking only when thirsty. Try to drink only enough to replace lost fluids
and consume sports drinks containing sodium rather than plain water.

,比如SLEEPINGBAG的那个还有什么值得期待的帖子,不少新人老人看了都表示很受鼓
舞。

另外,建议跑版搞点征文活动,你为什么跑步,跑步给你带来的身心变化,等等,因为
作为新人,看到大家跑步的疯狂感到很纳闷疑惑好奇不解。

What is an ice-pack?
Ice-in-a-bag is an ice pack.
How to make an ice-pack?
Expensive way: there are cold packs for sale in CVS or Walgreen or any other
pharmacies.
They are made of some gel sealed in thick plastics and with nice wraps. It's
probably better to store it in the freezer in your refrigerator to make it
sufficiently cold.
Cheap way: put some ice in a Zip-Lock bag, or any food-storage plastic bags.
Make sure it has no leaks. Ice is solid and it doesn't have a large
contacting surface with your skin. Add some water if you need to make a
large contacting surface on the bag, Ice:water = ~2:1 or 3:1.
What is an ice-pack for?
It is to fast-shrink microvesicles to stop or slow down bleeding. A pain is
your body yelling at you about something wrong, e.g. a swelling or a muscle
/tendon tear. It helps a particular pain: the sharp cutting kind of
sensation. The pain should be very much reproducible at a particular body
position or movement.
How to use an ice-pack?
Put the plastic bag with ice-water on wherever your pain is. The most
important thing is to keep it there for a LONG time. Within one minute, you
'll feel the ice begins to 'bite'. This is a stage you must endure. The
cold 'biting' pain would go away in a few minutes or longer. Slowly, you'll
feel the skin underneath the bag begin to 'cool down'. Then that patch of
skin would become numb. This is the time you could remove the ice-pack. (
You could keep it there a little bit longer.) Replace it with a fresh ice-
pack if most ice melt while you have not felt the numbness.
If your pain is somewhere you could not easily apply an ice-pack, e.g. heel,
ankle, bottom of foot, you could soak your entire foot into ice-water. Be
aware though, the initial cold 'biting' is much more painful than an ice-
pack.
(I welcome any additions, suggestions and corrections. These are from my personal experience.)

跟大家一样,我也是一路跌跌撞撞的走过来的:
l 为备战09波士顿08年冬训上了量,从北马前30英里周量上到40英里周,膝盖开始隐
隐地有酸涨不适感,开始到处打听解决办法,并照搬尝试了:
n 每次跑完第一件事给膝盖和双腿做冰敷,之后变成了一种心里上的依赖。
n 09年1月开始吃Glucosamine葡萄糖胺。
n 4月开始用Knee strap,后来发现也是心理作用。
n 5月换Peal Izumi Cruise和Peal Izumi Streak鞋。
l 跑完09年波士顿后,为破三开始用功读书,学习到了低心率,6月开始跟Andy
Palmer计划,同时以上几种方法还交替使用着。
l 10年坚持低心率,彻底放弃了Glucosamine – 现在家里还有一大瓶-L。5月开始换
牛顿鞋。
l 11年继续低心率,年初消除了心里障碍,彻底放弃Knee strap,3月开始读the big
book by Phil Maffetone, 逐步停止所有跑前跑后的拉伸。"
