标 题: 求教一个California right turn not stop on red 的ticket

Caught by camera, so plan to pay the penalty. It seems to have two options :
1. pay $476, then get points for 18 month? if there a point for this small
mistake?
2. pay $576, and go to driver school for a day to avoid the points.
My question is since our insurance is under my husband name , I am only the
2nd driver (btw, that car's title does under my name). Is there any big
impact to our insurance premium? If not, I'd rather to pay less. Also is
there an online class that I can take to avoid one-day class in DMV?

if you are the one caught by camera, and your husband is on car title (which
means the ticket is his name.)
Great, you don't need to pay.
All you need to do, is write back, say i am not the driver.
Based on california law, your husband don't need to state who was the driver.

California Law 哪一条？有没有 Civil Code？
俺当年那封信背面写着：
IF YOU ARE NOT THE DRIVER, complete the Identify New Driver form below......
If you do not complete...this citation will remain in your name.

俺上次也是红灯右拐被录像，自己去法庭，那个 Poway Sheriff Lady 帮俺把 charge
从 VC 21453(a) 改成 VC 2146(a)。罚款从 $436 且不可上驾校消点减到 $250
并可上驾校消点。
呵呵，吃罚单上庭俺已经干过三、四次了。一次成功“case dismissed”，其他都减了。

need to spend too much time on this bying dealing with Lawyer? or they
pretty much will take care of everything for me for my ticket? |

我上次就是开老婆的车（title里面只有她）被拍下来，罚单直接寄给我的，虽然我和
那辆车在DMV里面没有联系。
现在的照相是高清+录像，他们一查就知道发给谁了。

dismiss. Lucky it was dismissed in the end.

violation at westview pky/mira mesa and it got dismissed a few months later.
It was $100 too and the only I did I think was emailing him a copy of the
ticket. so pay the $100 and relax.
