Intel to buy McAfee in $7.68 billion deal

Santa Clara chip maker Intel intends to buy McAfee, the Santa Clara maker of
security software, for $7.68 billion, or $48 a share, the companies
announced this morning.
Both companies' boards of directors have approved the all-cash deal.
