treatment is to improve life quality. This is especially true for those who
suffer late-stage symptoms.

I know two cancer survivors.
One is my 'old' neighbor in Beijing and she has survived 14 years already (
she is 73 now). The other one is my coworker's aunt living in Canada and she
has survived 30 years (now 70).
李敖 had prostate cancer 7 years ago. He looks good.
There are also a bunch of bad cases. For example, my manager's great
grandfather (lived in midwest) died from stage 4 lung cancer only two months
after diagnosis.
Don't worry too much if you had one. Go get formal treatments. |
