两家父母无压力，要是困难时还可以支援我们一些，不过只能应急；
生活上对奢侈品没有偏好，但不想过的很穷，比如一年至少能afford $2～3K的假期花销
我感觉是700～800K，可这个价位有点高不成低不就的 850K 会不会很吃力？
另外15y vs 30y loan的问题，我怎么感觉30y月供只能少1K多，非常不合算，为什么听
到周围的人
15y的很少？当然如果投资年收入能稳定超过5%贷30y估计合算，不过想想不太会把全部
积蓄扔到高风险

stick to buy and hold. The tick is
that you can stick to it, for 30 years though.

paying a rate of 2.7-3.0%. Deposit the extra money in China with RMB, last
time I checked the interest rate for one year CD is 2.5% if you price in the
future CD rate raise and the appreciation of RMB, you can easily beat the
mortgage saving. Also, you have the benefit of liquidity.

Without 2F, no one will buy mortgages, because it is the worst kind of
investment, (borrow in short term and lend in long term with fixed rate, and
borrower having an option to pay it back early when rate goes down ...) 2F
can do it because tax payers are footing the bills.I would be damned if I
am not on the other side of the trade and maximize my advantage.
