why look at pe? that is a ratio for traditional company without growth.

in the end p/e still a good indicator for overpriced stocks.

Sell software functionalities (CRM, ERP, etc) not by licensing, but by
subscription.
SaaS as a business model once was believed to have a fundamental flaw,
but salesforces outgrows it, and is probably the only one that has
successfully done so.

CRM应该是售前和售后，售前产品介绍，订单，shipment track之类的，售后就是
customer
support，客户发case之类的。在enterprise领域，crm因为必须对外和客户打交道，所以
security不想ERP和HR那么sensitive，比较适合SaaS。
PE不适合high growth公司，原因很简单，先前要大笔资金投入，建data center，开发
软件等
等，而且收入增长快。到了后面，不需要investment，马上PE就下来了。
就像女生挑老公一样，要是40-50的肯定看存款和工资，要是20岁刚毕业的，看工资就
不make
sense了。

CRM may be not the "only" one, but "first" one to be successful in
SaaS.
