车子在柱子上擦了。说轻不轻，说重不重， 但很难看。有两块panel要处理。车子当时
刚过6年，body保养很好。
周5晚drop off的车，说好两天后晚上取。V asked for total $300. Honestly, it's
a good price, even though I did not price check with anybody else.
At the time when I went to get the car, it's not totally fixed, but looked
much better. Victor said I could drop off again next weekend to finish the
job, but asked if I could pay full first - which I did, in cash. We had some
good chat, he's a good person. (he did not know that I had a friend who
worked at the same company as he did)
Next weekend, when I contacted him, I was told he could not do it that
weekend because of other car fixing jobs. The following weekend, I was told
he made a mistake that he did not realize that it was so expensive to get
the matching paint from dealer, he asked if I could pay $100 additional -
which I agreed. But we did not find a suitable time to drop off the car.
Following days, when I contact him, I gradually realized that he did not
want to continue to work on this job anymore. So I stopped contact him.
This was my experience. I was not too upset, after all he did most of the
work (I eventually bought some prime and spray paint myself and tried to
make it look a bit nicer) |

车的color paint 有很多种, 质量也各不一样， 你第一次做的效果不好可能用的paint
quality 不够好。 dealer 的paint 价格也不一样， 一般较新的车paint 有multi-
layer, 会比较贵. 所以V 给你的价格可能是一般没有multi-layer 的价格， 但是后来
到dealer那里查到你得color code 是multi-layer 的， 所以告诉了你paint的钱不够。
我的回答非专业。有待victor 验证。 如果你不是托， 建议你们私下沟通一下。 谢谢。

真的不好,不收錢總覺得好像時間浪費了，左右為難啊.
不太懂修車，就說廚房DOUBLE SINK連個上下水把，一般double sin labor only 250，
去HD 買東西來回至少1.5小時，然後開始做，順利的最快也要2.5的小時吧,最麻煩可能
都4-5.
可是有時候客人要加個water filter(有些water filter要換valve和買點小零件）, 或
者VALVE那個3/8 COMP接頭漏水，你還要在去HD買VALVE，給客人換上，來回沒了1個小
時，又換兩個valve. 做完了客人過兩個月打電話說漏水, 1/10的chance漏水，不管是
人為還是材料的問題， 像這種事情怎麼收owner的錢?
所以很多老外CONTRACTOR恨中國，越南還有墨西哥的CONTRACTOR,因為這些CONTRACTOR
從來不算overhead, 瞎報價，市場都搞亂了.

我老替victor解释下，victor可能已经喷了一次了，也做了clear coat, 可能victor没
color analyser,不能做dynamic color match, 只能从dealer那里根据color code再
order paint
问题是车主的车是旧车，color code的油漆颜色肯定不match的，victor做了一次因为
颜色问题自己感觉比较失败，于是打算重做，去dealer那里做color analysis,再在那
里调色。
这点肯定不够300刀了，人不想自己倒贴钱，但最后也忘了把多的钱吐出来了。

the only car body paint I don't do well is a 05 lexus.
that car is a "pearl white"
the painting job is little difference from regular painting job.
the base color need addition pearl liquid. it make the price 3x than regular
paint price.
I find out that on the paint supply shop. event the procedure is whole
difference. At that time, one toyota dealer paint dept tech was there too.he
told me this color is very difficult to march the exist color on the car,
better paint the whole area.
I tested so many times, can not got 100% same, plus the car is not new car.
So, I told the owner, my skill at this time can not do a perfect job.
He want to try DIY, I give him all the materials.
I think that is LZ's car. that is the top car to paint ever.
