SOMA and North Beach in SF are usually pricier than others.
My friend is paying about $1500/mo for his one-bed apartment in North Beach
w/o a parking.
Another friend of mine in SOMA is renting out her room for $1500/mo w/o a
parking.
Also, there are some areas you want to avoid (e.g.tenderloin).
Anyway, the 1-bed apartment in SF costs 1K-3K/month, depending where you
stay.
If you like sunny and retired-kind of place, Mountain View is a good choice.
The 1-bed apartment there costs around 1K-1.5K.
If you need to go to SF daily, you don't want to live in MV tho since
driving to SF in the morning is horrible. If you don't mind taking CalTrain
for 55 mins (one way), then MV isn't a bad choice at all. |

我住City里面，在Richmond Area, 大概1300-1400，有车库的，你Craigslist上找找，
应该有，不过三藩的社区都不灵的，有Pool和spa的很少的。

带有停车位。但是其实听说住在三番更exciting,我不懂了，也许住在somewhere
in between？ 价钱希望不超过1500吧

发帖数: 248 | 8 I used to live in MV for few years. It is a nice place to live.
If you like to party or experience city life (e.g. fine dining, many ppl on
the streets, more young people, etc), SF is considered a "fun" place.
You will find quite a lot of choices (w/parking) there since you are willing
to pay up to $1500/mo.
If you are joining a big corp, ask for sponsoring a 1-month corp stay.
Usually big corps there have some contracts with some nice apartments for
temporary stays. Then, you can look around by yourself.
As dy0953 mentioned, craigslist probably is the best bet.
If you look for some luxury apt, you can check out Avalon.
If you look for some cheap but okay stay, PM me. I can give you my previous
landlord's #. His apt complex was full when I visited 2 months ago tho. |

很热闹，起码能看见几个人，有一些餐馆吧，开车15分钟之类。。

挺多的。
