Lastest update, it will probably rain this weekend. So my friends are skipping on me. All the slots are open. Let us see how the mother nature will treat us.
So if you are interested to go, you can RSVP.
We will do some moderate hiking to see all the great falls of yosemite and we will enjoy beer camp fire chatting.
Attendee need to share the cost for the camp site, gas at around 40 per person.
The detail plan is as following.
Day 1
8:00am Carpool for everyone at Mission Blvd park and ride, 701-899 Mission Rd, Fremont, CA
12:00pm Arrived at Yosemite National Park, check into our camp site at lower pine, set them up, have lunch
1:00pm leave the car at the camp site, take bus shuttle or just walk to Mist Trail Head(Vernal and Nevada Falls) 7 miles round 1900 feet elevation to nevada falls (+1 mile if we have to walk to trail head)
5:30pm back to lower pine camp site
5:30pm - dinner, camp fire and sleep.
Day 2
8:00am get up, detach the tent, have breakfast.
9:00am start yosemite fall trail hiking
easy hikers can hike to the bottom view of the upper yosemite fall
strenous hikers 9.4miles 2,969 feet to yosemite point
lunch somewhere on the trail.
5:30pm down to the trail head and head back to bay area
9:00pm arrive mission blvd park and ride
I will bring a pack of firewood, kitchen towel, a stove and a pack of beer. Attendee shall bring his/her own food but it's ok to share my stove. I will bring two one-gallon water container so please bring your own container for the drink on the trail.
I will not provide camping gear for the RSVPer, attendee need to bring his/her own camping gear.
I have a SUV which can hold all 5 ppl's camping gear. This is for sure.
