some good companies just covered the increase so individuals don't feel it. |

kaiser is pretty cheap in any company, PPO will cost much more
my company PPO for family of four $500+ per month, Kaiser less $100
Basically, high tech company has bad benefits: insurance, 401k match, etc, but has great stock options
