StemRD is seeking a scientist experienced in protein purification with a
focus on secreted proteins.
Demonstrated proficiency in the design, execution, optimization and
troubleshooting of protein purification
processes is required. Proven experience in characterization of proteins is
essential. Ability to analyze,
interpret and effectively present data at group meetings or to customers is
required. Experience in cell
biology is highly desirable.
In return, the candidate will have an opportunity to learn and contribute to
a variety of projects and company’s
business operations in an intimate start-up company environment.
Requirements:
PhD, BS, MS or equivalent in biochemistry or a related discipline
5+ yrs of relevant protein biochemistry experience
Experience with FPLC and HPLC
Hands on experience with cell culture techniques is highly preferred
A team player that works independently, but closely within a small group
Excellent organizational, communicational and multi-tasking skills
