different perspective that argues the opposite?

Google is not like that. A searc engine has utility. It doesn't require
upkeep, nor other people to make I useful.
What is my point? Entertainment products have a fixed life span, they get
hot and then they get cold within 7 year cycles.Even American Idol is
falling after it's 7 years hot. Popular social clubs go through a similar
boom and bust cycle. Facebook is an online social club. Short.

entainment to waste their time.
