现在是R&D,过去做FAE。这个title虽说是FAE但是还有相当一部分是framework design
，也就是我的兴趣所在；外加一些sales的role。之前问过career path，也许转从纯R&
D转到面向客户的位置也是career path上正确的一步？还没有想的很清楚
大家觉得呢？ |

这个是工作性质转换，2w根本不够cover risk的

If you have a better career path in this new environment, then go. If not,
stay in the current environment to take advantage of your accumulated
resource.
Well, if your current boss and you are not good match, it is a different
story. |

that you can't do the new job as well as expectation because it is new to
you.
But I think 20K is somewhat a big difference. It is not a big difference for
your overall salary, but if you look at how much you can save each year (
for most people 30k~40k I suppose, 12k after tax on top of that doesn't look
too bad.

one by one.
Very difficult for you to go back to R&D. it is a complete different career
path.
If it matches your expectation, good. If not, the years you spend as an FAE
will be a waste of your life.

做FAE以后的careerpath是怎样的？FAE->marketing or FAE->sales?
要不恁干脆分析一下这一直做R&D的career path和做FAE的career path吧。R&D我也做
好多年了，咋没看到啥path呢？

Some can do FAE -> SALES
So far as I know.
R&D career path is very wide.
R&D -> marketing
R&D -> manager
R&D -> R&D
If someone never pave his own career path, there would not be any path.
