1. 保姆周六周日休假吗？（如果住家，是不是应该周末不休息？）
2. 家里如有婴儿，保姆的工作时长通常是多少？
3. 是按日付薪水，还是按月付薪水？如果按月，周末和法定假日做不做事？
4. 如果我按下出价，是否合理？
照顾婴儿 $50/day
照顾婴儿 + 做饭 $60/day
照顾婴儿 + 做饭 + 家务 $70/day
我不知道现在的行情，如果理解有什么偏差，烦请指正。 | m*******4

opinions:
1. 保姆周六周日休假吗？（如果住家，是不是应该周末不休息？）
My housekeeper works 6 days a week and have sunday or whatever the day you
want her off. doesnt have to be sunday. so she leaves around 3pm on Sat afternoon and comes back on
sunday around 7pm.
2. 家里如有婴儿，保姆的工作时长通常是多少？
If you hire her for live in then doesnt matter how long the work hour is per
day. as long as it is reasonable. for example, my HK gets up at 645am, cook
breakfast for my 8 yr old, then feed the 2 yr old...etc and then doing
house work and cooking lunch or dinner and other things throughout the day,
we told her she can take a break whenever is not busy or has nothing to do,
so she takes her break sometimes before the 8yr old gets home from school
and before the 2yr old gets up from her nap and sometimes she just doesnt
rest at all. and she usually go to bed around 8pm after she washed the
dishes for dinner.
3. 是按日付薪水，还是按月付薪水？如果按月，周末和法定假日做不做事？
if you pay her monthly then she has 4 days off per month thats all, she
works for 26 days or 27 days. if she wants more days off we can either
deduct the salary from that day off or she can make it up by working one
extra day the following month. (her daily salary will be the monthly salary/
26 days)
4. 如果我按下出价，是否合理？
照顾婴儿 $50/day
照顾婴儿 + 做饭 $60/day
照顾婴儿 + 做饭 + 家务 $70/day
its reasonable. but to be honest, if she does all like taking care of the baby
, cooking and doing house work, i dont think she can last for long or she
wont be able to do a good job. I think most of her time will be focus on
baby. So you gonna have to help out with housework or cooking or taking care
of the baby while she does other things
I have 2 kids, 8yr old and 6yr old. I started using live in nanny or
housekeeper since 1999 and the longest one lasted about 3 yrs until she has
to move back to China to retire. anyway my opinion is that housekeeper from
the northern china are big no no, they are very narrow minded, nannies from
southern part are much better, maybe there is problems communicating since
some of them speak not very good mandarin but eventually you will see that
they work harder and they CHI KU NAI LAO!
Also don't hire anyone who has been to the states for a long time, hire
someone who just came here or at least less than 3 years. throughout the
years we find that nannies who came here more than 3 yrs are very MA FAN!
I dont know which area you are here in the Bay but even if you are in south
bay you should still look for one from chinatown here in san francisco(there
are many employment centers in chinatown and if you call ahead they can
gather some for you for interview within 2 days, i like Fanny from Chinese
Employment Center, just google it). I heard from my friends who live in the
south bay saying that most ppl looking for nanny jobs or housekeepers are
only doing it for the short term and they are very annoying.
Hope this helps and inbox me if you have more questions. I think i am very
lucky to find my current nanny/housekeeper, we found her through Fanny, she
is about 50, from a village in Canton, start to look after babies since she
was 17yr old, total 33 babies she has taken care off. we went skiing over
thxgiving and after we came back, she alreay potty trained our 27mo old

发帖数: 201 | 4 我家阿姨就是北京人，没问题。关键看个人情商。
同意楼上关于来美时间不宜过长的观感。
我觉得两个孩子，价钱低了一点点。一个孩子差不多。
还有说只管孩子也不现实，她住在你家，中午难道你们还烧饭给她吃？一般都是说last choice，但是以孩子为主要任务。
还有国定假日是要给放假的。大家都是人，需要一个break。 | q**********n

在家里装远程监视摄像头算reasonable 吗？
