发帖数: 352 | 2 If you can, do not go to Palo Alto Medical Fremon Center. We used to go Mt.
View PAMF and see the same doctor for 7 years. After we moved to Fremont,
last month, my kid went for annual well baby check and I went for annual
check at internal medicine. The exact same tests, Fremont PAMF will bill you
much more money.
Our sample, my annual physical used to be all covered by insurance when they
billed as preventive care when I saw dr. in Mt. View. Exact same tests and
no other peoblem, Fremont end up bill me over $600 dollar for extra doctor
visit in addition of preventive visit and the blood tests billed as regular
instead of preventive tests (and I do not have any problem in history and I
am health, and I told them I was just for annual physical check). I went
through big time talking to doctor's office (the doctor is very
unprofessional), billing department, and patient relationship. The billing
issue is still not not solved. It is a nightmare for a health person went
for annual physical (without complaint to doctor any problem) but receive a
bill of over $600.
Similar thing happened to my kid. Only one simple blood test was also billed
as regular instead of rountine preventive care. At least the pediatrics
doctor thinks it is preventive. Still waiting for Billing to call me back.
Based on my experience, if you can, please do not go there unless you do not
mind medical cost or you have very good insurance will cover you all. The
doctors and billing in Mt. View and Fremont seems totally different. |
