live person on the 2nd try. here is what happened.
me: " I am trying to get in touch with Jimmy Kimmel's production company,
am I reaching the right place?"
other guy: "yes,.."
me: "hi, I am calling because there was a recent show by jimmy kimmel, which
i feel very much offended by it. it's very offensive and disturbing. it's
about jimmy kimmel talking with schoolchildren about killing all chinese"
other guy:" sorry but I am not aware of it"
me: " well, it was on a talk show on abc. jimmy kimmel talked with a group
of schoolchildren. one child said kill all chinese and jimmy kimmel said it
was an interesting idea..... I think it's very offensive"
other guy:" sorry I dont know about it, don't know what to do with it. maybe
you can call ABC?.."
me: " well, is this the Jimmy Kimmel's production company?"
other guy:" yes. I only work part time here. I don't whom to talk w.."
me: " is there somebody or some dept I can speak w, because it's very
disturbing.."
other guy:" I don't know the number. if you leave your name and phone
number, I can file a complaint for you"
me: " sure." then I give name and number. then" am I actually going to get
a call back from someone? or which dept handles this?"
other guy: " I don't know. I will pass it on and file a complaint. they
will call you.."
looked like I wasn't going to get anywhere. so I hang up.
overall, I think calling may have some effect. they seem like a small
company. words might pass to jimmy kimmel there is concern about his stupid
joke. |
