I am sure even worse things have been said about Rose Parks when she did not
give up her seat to White people in 1955. But look at today, that is no
longer a norm. People like her fought for race and gender equality for
people including Chinese so we can study and work with White people in the
same place.
There are still norms need to be changed in this country including using
condescending tones at Asian in most of the media outlets today. Don't let
these people intimidate you. You don't want your kids to continue to live
like a 2nd class citizen, do you? Then please respect yourself and pick up
your dignity! Let your children be proud of you!
