能真正干出一番事业改变社会面貌的，永远不是那些批评家，不是那些指出强者如何失
误，或者指出实干家们如何能干得更好的人。我们应该把功劳归于那些真正下场的人，
归于那些满脸尘土，流血流汗，勇于拼搏的人,归于那些屡败屡战的勇者；因为任何一
个努力的尝试都可能与失败为伍，但是真正的勇者会努力付诸行动， 饱含激情乐于奉
献，为了理想而献身。他们明白，成功了会伴随着无上的荣耀，失败了也至少勇敢无悔
的奋斗过。所以勇者永远不会被不懂成败冷漠怯懦的灵魂所取代，历史会永远记住他们
的功劳！

Previously there were two presidents signed or extended Chinese Exclusion
Act to be effective for 10 years as they were thinking 20 years was too
harsh. It was Teddy Roosevelt who signed the act to make it permanent. He
applauded 1882 Chinese exclusion act by saying Chinamen is ruinous to the
white race.
By the way whatever and whoever you quote should't be used as your excuse
for the mistake. |

尤其是这句：“1884年的修正案收紧了为之前的移民的离开和返回所作的准备，并细化

也许从排华角度我们不应该称赞这位总统。不过纵观他的一生，还是非常了不起的。起
码他是个敢作敢当的人，他从内心觉得华人对白人不利，就敢让排华法案永久性。那么
，作为我们，有他的勇气推倒美国社会对华人的歧视么？能脚踏实地的一步步走下去，
直到看到胜利的曙光么？说实在话我之前根本没意识到美国有两位罗斯福总统（汗一个
）。但是看到wiki上他的介绍，我还是很佩服他的。希望华裔中也能多出一些像T.R.一
样了不起，最后能彻底改变华裔地位的勇者！

虽然这个总统签署了臭名昭著的排华法案，但是这些话确实值得深思，正所谓，师夷长
技以制夷。
