Millikin是Santa Clara School Distict的choice school, 不是20多年一直都是
lottery school, lottery 是他们的注册方式。在校生的sibling优先，不必抽签直接
入学，剩下名额用来抽签。

lottery。我老公大哥的孩子就是这个小学毕业的，现在已经大学毕业工作了。当然现
在申请的学生很多，lottery是必须的。
不要觉得奇怪老师不改作业, 湾区好学区的老师很多都不改作业的，听说Palo Alto的
很多老师也不改作业， 都是让家长义工改作业，没有义工就让学生之间互相改。

ratio of the Santa Clara city. Why, if it is based on lottery, the ratio
should not be like this. |

发帖数: 394 | 7 I guess not many Chinese apply there. At the open house, I didn't see many
Chinese. Also, it gives high priority for the siblings. Today, I just
visited Laurelwood, it is pretty nice school too.

Millikin frpm K to 4th grade before move to MSJ. Compared to MSJ schools,
you will really appreciate how much effort and time Millikin teachers spend
on studnets. Parents almost do not need to do anything on Kid's work.Quote
from teacher "please let us do the teaching" , teachers asked parent do not
teach at home. Teacher take care of all. While at MSJ, the first form I am
asked to sign as a parent is for "parent is responsible for kid homework".
Teacher doesn't teach
at classroom. That is the main difference. |

发帖数: 76 | 18 听Challenge和Stratford的家长们说，Challenge 的Sunnyvale site和Ardenwood Site
是Challenger 中最好的campus,最差是Palo Alto site；Stratford的Washington Park
Site最好,最差是Palo Alto site.所以难怪着几个好的campus都被小印占了。
