Hi All,
While our group is becoming bigger and bigger (2000+ in about 10 days), I
think it is a good time to share our original thinking to found SVCA:
1)SVCA is an open/transparant/non-profit/grassroot organization. And the org
chart is event-based/credit-based, not fixed. And org chart must be
transparent to accept monitoring.
2)All members are volunteers at this moment, including myself. No title, no
hierarchy, function-based. And credits are given transparently.
3)Anyone can volunteer to take the lead for an event. As the moderator, your
leadership will be honored by your following volunteers.
4)We do not like off-table groups inside.
5)Currently SVCA only promote Kai Zhu's www.no2sca5.org in our flyers/video/
news release/etc. Since this site is the most professional and nails the
single issue. It is the first time I met Kai Zhu and most SVCA volunteers
fully respect his time/effort/professional knowledge.
6)Any new off-table groups/organization can't use our flyers/posters etc
without permission. Propaganda video can be distributed freely without any
modification.
7)Any new off-table groups/organization can't use our FB group to collect
volunteers resource without permission, otherwise posts will be deleted.
8)Any individual can use our documents/video etc freely without any
modification.
9)For a single issue, we only want to use ~10% volunteers, ~10% available
time from each volunteer. We do not push for delivery unless necessary.
10)We volunteer for public interest, not personal one.
11)SVCA mainly focus on ACTIONs! Moderate discussion is welcome! Quarrel is
acceptable but may be deleted anytime without notification if it causes too
much distraction.
12)Out task list/org chart is open and can be seen under "Files".(Mobile FB
may not be able see, please use PC).
13)SVCA committee(10-100) is also event-based, and transparent to all
volunteers when ready.
We hope all can understand our fundamental idea. SVCA is a totally new and
unique organization. Basically we are like open-source with GPL in software
world. We are like Android, not iOS; We are like Linux, not Windows.
