modified or not. Whether there is a sound wall or not?
My house is about 70 meter away BART track. BART track is on the ground
level. BART build a sound wall. They changed our windows to triple-pane
windows. They will replace the exhaust fan in bathroom with a automatic
shutter.
They promised reduce the noise level indoor to be less than 42 dBA. (similar
to Refrigerator's noise)

I do not know the results yet. We have to wait to 2017. I am personally
not too worry about the BART noise. |

sound wall.
The BART train is relatively much lighter than the UPRR freight train. Yes,
when freight train pass by, I can feel vibration when I was on bed. But I
could not feel it during daytime. BART train does not run between 11 pm and
4 am. Freight train rarely runs in night time, even in daytime, they runs
twice per day only between 7 am to 10 pm. |
