The university’s Board of Regents voted, 14-7, to approve tuition increases
of up to 5 percent in each of the next five years, a compounded increase of
as much as 27.6 percent. The elected officials on the board, led by Gov.
Jerry Brown, opposed the plan, which had been proposed and championed by
Janet Napolitano, the president of the university system.

别的地方的中农抱怨就算了，硅谷的高收入码工就不要起哄了。
学费4千一个季度，一般一年上三个学期也就1W2。
Berkeley这么好的学校，还不便宜？就算退一步，UCLA/UCSD，也超值啊。
中国人给孩子教育投资还不舍得。很多美国学生嚷嚷，不是家里没钱，而是父母要求他
们自己负担。
