DP的原因有：
1。不想结婚因为有财产公证和分割的困扰，但是希望有保险或者探视等权利。所以很
多异性之间注册DP
2。无法结婚，在GAY MARRIAGE通过之前，同性伴侣只能注册DP

加州法律允许男性可以认为自己是女的，随时进女厕所女浴室。。。当然也可以与女孩

If you and your partner are over 18, or one or both partners are under 18
and have obtained a court order granting permission to establish a domestic
partnership, and are of the same sex, or are opposite sex and one partner is
at least 62 and meet the requirements of California Family Code section 297
, you may register a domestic partnership with the California Secretary of
State. You may register by completing a Declaration of Domestic Partnership
Form NP/SF DP-1, having both partners' signatures notarized, and submitting
the form with the appropriate fee to the California Secretary of State. |

下，加州要求异性必须一方62岁以上，不知道为啥。
我以前在别的州，有一次公司HR在给我们讲解医疗保险的时候，问，你们有没有DP的？
一个男同事马上举手，说他的DP（女的，用的是SHE）和小孩都住在一起。他还问了一
些关于DP的医疗保险的事情，大家都觉得没有什么惊奇的。
