我是阿西莫夫的饭，现在在看Foundation And Empire。

不知道有没有中文版的？偶现在边看边翻译，
动作比较慢
Asimiv的三大系列中，机器人是国内最流行的，
也是思想体系比较完整的，但还有一些短篇没看
完，长篇中也有两篇没有解决
Foundation系列视野够广了，但具体到每本书，却
多少有点小气
帝国系列居然没有看过，真让偶汗颜

和fundation prelude都还没看完呢

好象台湾有译全套的，但网上只有几段。
机器人系列象是很多智力游戏，很有意思。不过相比之下我更
喜欢基地系列，觉得场面实在宏大。
我觉得这正是阿西莫夫高人之处。基地系列每本书开始几章都让
人觉得挺乏味，全是些凡人琐事，但他就是在那儿特冷静地讲这些
细节，讲着讲着就让你放不下了。阿加莎克里斯蒂的侦探小说也
有这种特点。
我觉得阿老真正大师的地方在于，不象很多科幻作家一样炫耀技术，
在他的作品里尤其是基地系列里，未来技术永远不是主角，但需要
时信手拈来，又很自然。写科幻写到这种境界，就象金老写出
鹿鼎记一样的感觉。

我是按小说的编年顺序看的，觉得这样故事比较顺的说。

能性，90%都在灌水，大谈特谈特朗多的未来景象。
不过好在他老人家一直没忘记谢东是去干甚么的，从能转回去，

也不完全算灌水，主要在于写Trantor，也就是帝国的缩影，如何高度
城市化和自动化，而又一天一天衰颓下去。
我倒觉得基地系列的主要问题是后写的几部，特别是他老想把机器人
编进去，反而不太自然了。特别是那个第零定律加得有些生硬。

谜底都在foundation & earth中揭示的，所以
有点卫斯理了:) 就是说，前面铺垫很多，最后
一转，忽然发现其实是为了创造一个戏剧性场
面。而到foundation & earth里，一个一个星
球的找earth... sigh，也是灌水之一种吧？当
然还是有不错的，比如教授从五十个殖民星球
的座标发现地球位置..

I finished all foundation series.. ~~~~~~~
The new foundation books written by some other guys
sucks compared to the original Asimov's..
Working on "CHung huo" now.. ho ho ho.. :)

Check out amazon.com and look for the book named "Chung kuo"
and it will give you a synopsis.
In general, the book is about in future, chinese dominate
the world and unite the whole world, build up a great city
"city earth" upon the old structure. The story is about how
this great empire goes under the pressure of wanting change
from the people from below the "first level".
It is written by David Wingrove. A great series so far. I am
on the end of the 2nd book "broken wheel". :)
