USC researchers predict molecular technology may one day outstrip the compu
ter on savage combinatorial problems.

A DNA-based computer has solved a logic problem that no person could complet
e by hand, setting a new milestone for this infant technology that could som
eday surpass the electronic digital computer in certain areas.
The results will be published in the online version of the journal Science o
n March 14 and will then run in the print edition.
