function of when you get hired (i.e. good job market or not), your previous
salary, how much you negotiated, and your career progression after joining
AMZN.
I once managed a team that a SDE I hired fresh out of UW was making more
than a SDE 2 who had been working at AMZN for 5+ years.
I would use the Glassdoor number as a reference, but don't take it too
seriously. |

director/VP that runs the group.
Intuitively, I think community platform is probably least "mission critical"
, and therefore a little bit less stressful.
Pricing is probably tough, given how important pricing is. It's well known
that AMZN wants to make sure they're the price leader in certain category/
SKUs. If something goes wrong, you'll need to be there to fix.
I'm not sure about the other two.
