你所要做的就是收到出庭通知以后，选defer,
再附上申请defer finding的申请表，和出庭通知一并寄回
等收到defer申请被approved的通知后，付$150左右即可（具体金额可能跟ticket有关，我付了$200)

你根本不用费时间去见法官

s very possible they'll reduce it to < $150 so no need to ask for deferral (
it won't go on your record anyway). Last time I had a ticket (expired tabs +
expired driver's license) for almost $800, I chose mitigation and went to
court. The judge reduced it to a bit over $200.
If it's a moving violation, it's up to you; I never found my insurance
increasing after a speeding ticket (only after an accident), contrary to
what many people believe (I actually checked with my insurance guy who
confirmed that the rate is not generally affected by tickets). So I would
choose to reduce instead of defer. |
